GPSR Information
The GPSR (General Product Safety Regulations) is a regulation on general product safety of the EU for product safety. You can find it HERE.
In accordance with the EU General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR), we ensure that all our books and publications meet the safety standards.
Safety relevant features
Books and print publications without supplements or additional functions do not generally pose a risk to the health or safety of consumers. Such products are therefore exempt from the obligation to include additional safety information under Article 9(7) of the GPSR Regulation. However, if you have any questions about a product, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Unique identification / labeling
Thanks to the unique ISBN (International Standard Book Number) or ISSN (International Standard Serial Number), each book / journal has a unique label with the necessary information for identification.
Security information
According to Article 9 (7) of the GPSR Regulation, no additional safety information is required for printed publications that do not contain supplements or special features. However, if a book contains any additions that require special precautions, these will be clearly indicated.
Of course, you can cut your finger on paper, but parents should give their children these everyday risks as they grow up. Similarly, books are not suitable for consumption either cooked or raw. Accordingly, you can trip over a ribbon marker or break a fingernail on the cover, etc. Thinking helps.Oh yes, words always harbor the danger of opening up new content, thoughts and worlds… but that’s not really the point.
If you still have safety concerns or questions, please contact us.
