&
In collaboration with the magazine CRADLE Magazine, single-topic non-fiction books are being produced that address the individual techniques, material groups, and typologies of sustainable construction in building construction, urban planning, and landscape design.
The Series
The CRADLE & CIRCLE books are high-quality, technically sound architecture books. They are specifically aimed at architects, civil engineers, and specialist planners, as well as environmentally conscious building owners and those interested in sustainability. Thanks to the various forewords and the detailed glossary, however, the series is also accessible to laypeople. The examples provide inspiration for both small and large construction projects and can assist private builders as well as institutional building planners in making decisions.
What sets the CRADLE & CIRCLE books apart?
• Concrete, real-world examples: These are single-topic reference volumes. Each volume presents approximately 50 real-world construction projects from Germany, Europe, and around the world.
• Technical depth: The books contain actual floor plans, detailed and overview plans, information tables with technical data, and professional architectural photographs.
• The book projects are supplemented by essays on materials science and introductory articles by leading experts from research and the construction industry. Titles Published and Announced to Date
The books are published as hardcover editions and cost approximately 48 to 58 euros, depending on the volume.
